QA/QC Introduction

The quality assurance department takes its lead from the Chairman of the board. It is comprised of two branches, one, the quality management division, and the other, the quality supervision division. In the former division we employ 77 personnel who work in four distinct offices with differing responsibilities. They are: the research laboratory, the chemical lab, the certification office and the after-sales office. In the latter, the supervision division, there are 10 employees, whose task it is to take random samples off the production line for inspection before allowing finished products to be stored in the warehouse. Furthermore, this division has recently been in the process of consolidating its efficiency, looking closely at how it can further impose its strict control of quality. It now stipulates directly the criteria to be met in quality management and has been in discussion with the marketing department to improve the way their service operates.
